حمدوك: تعهدات أمريكية برفع اسم السودان من لائحة الإرهاب

تلقى رئيس الوزراء السوداني عبد الله حمدوك، تعهدات من مسؤولين أمريكيين، التقاهم في واشنطن، برفع اسم السودان من لائحة الإرهاب، بعدما أكد لهم أن مبررات إدراج السودان على تلك اللائحة، قد انتفت.
وقالت وزارة الخارجية السودانية، أمس الخميس، إن رئيس الوزراء التقى في واشنطن، كلا من ديفيد هيل، وكيل الخارجية الأمريكية للشئون السياسية، وجيمس رسش، رئيس لجنة العلاقات الخارجية بمجلس الشيوخ، وإليوت إينغل، رئيس لجنة الشئون الخارجية بمجلس النواب الأمريكي،حيث استعرض معهم تطورات الأوضاع في السودان، مركزا بالأساس على الوضع الإقتصادي، كما شدد على أن إزالة اسم السودان من قائمة الإرهاب سيمكنه من إجراء الإصلاحات الإقتصادية المنشودة والإستفادة من المبادرات الدولية كمبادرة إعفاء الديون وجذب الإستثمارات، الأمر الذي يؤدي إلى استقرار البلاد والإقليم بأسره.
وأكد وكيل وزارة الخارجية الأمريكية، لرئيس وزراء السودان، أن واشنطن عازمة على إزالة اسم السودان من قائمة الدول الراعية للإرهاب،حسب بيان للخارجية السودانية..
وخلال لقاء حمدوك مع رئيس لجنة الشئون الخارجية في مجلس النواب الأمريكي، أكد أعضاء اللجنة أنهم يتابعون الأوضاع في السودان من كثب وأنهم عازمون على الوقوف مع الحكومة الإنتقالية، حتى تتجاوز التحديات التي تجابهها، بما في ذلك العمل على إزالة اسم السودان من قائمة الإرهاب.
أما جيمس رسش، رئيس لجنة العلاقات الخارجية بمجلس الشيوخ، فأقر بالتغيير الذي حدث في السودان، معربا عن استعداده لدفع الجهود الرامية إلى إزالة اسم السودان من قائمة الإرهاب، والعمل على استمرار دعم الحكومة الإنتقالية.
