Trump Attacks Kamala Harris Amid Allegations of Hitler Praise and Sexual Misconduct

As Donald Trump faces renewed criticism over his controversial remarks and accusations of misconduct, the former president ramped up his personal attacks on Vice President Kamala Harris during a rally in Georgia. The event, held in Duluth and organized by the far-right youth group Turning Point USA, saw Trump deliver one of his trademark speeches filled with sharp insults and tangents.

At the rally, Trump repeatedly insulted Harris, calling her “crazy” and suggesting that she is unfit for her role. “This woman is insane,” he declared to his audience, urging them to stand against her and claiming she lacks basic communication skills. “You can’t string two sentences together,” he said, further accusing her of embarrassing the nation on the world stage. Referring to a recent interview Harris gave to CBS, Trump added, “She gave an answer straight out of a mental institution.” He also made derogatory comments about her intelligence, describing her as “low IQ.”

The timing of Trump’s rally coincided with increasing scrutiny surrounding his alleged sexual misconduct and historical remarks regarding Adolf Hitler. Earlier in the week, The Guardian published an interview with Stacey Williams, a former model who accused Trump of groping her at Trump Tower in 1993. Williams alleged that Trump’s actions were part of a disturbing game between him and Jeffrey Epstein, the notorious financier and convicted sex offender, implying a close relationship between the two men. Trump’s campaign swiftly denied the claims.

Williams’s testimony reignited public interest in the numerous allegations of sexual misconduct Trump has faced over the years. Meanwhile, Kamala Harris, alongside Republican ex-congresswoman Liz Cheney, was campaigning to encourage women to support the Democratic ticket in the upcoming election.

The rally also followed Harris’s unexpected speech in Washington, D.C., in which she sharply criticized Trump, labeling him a “fascist” who seeks “unchecked power.” Her remarks echoed those made by John Kelly, Trump’s former chief of staff and a retired Marine general, who earlier that week told The New York Times that Trump fits the definition of a “fascist” and is undeniably authoritarian. Kelly also revealed that Trump had once remarked, “Hitler did some good things too.”

In typical fashion, Trump’s speech veered off into a series of unrelated tangents. He touched on topics such as Google’s alleged bias against him, his relationship with fast food chain McDonald’s, his supposed role in preventing wars with France, and the infamous recording habits of Richard Nixon. He also mocked the media’s pronunciation of the vice president’s last name, suggesting that no one knows who “Harris” is.

Trump also threatened to sue CBS over its airing of Harris’s interview on *60 Minutes*, claiming the network had manipulated the footage. Despite no evidence supporting his claims, he repeated this threat several times throughout his speech.

Another noteworthy presence at the rally was Robert F. Kennedy Jr., a former independent presidential candidate, who defended Trump and accused John Kelly of being a “known liar.” While Trump refrained from addressing Kelly directly during the rally, he later took to his social media platform, Truth Social, to attack his former chief of staff, calling him a “LOWLIFE” and a “total degenerate.”

Earlier in the day, Trump attended a “faith-focused” town hall in Zebulon, Georgia, where he praised Hungary’s far-right leader, Viktor Orbán. Orbán has been widely condemned for his authoritarian actions and alignment with Moscow and Beijing. In response to a question about his religious beliefs, Trump stated, “Believing in God gives you an edge over those who don’t,” before making a bizarre comparison between himself and infamous mobster Al Capone, claiming he has faced more investigations than Capone ever did.

As the election draws nearer, Trump continues to face both legal and political challenges, yet remains steadfast in his combative rhetoric, especially toward Vice President Harris and his critics.
