It would be possible for US President Donald Trump to talk to Russian President Putin very soon, Trump said when speaking to journalists in the White House during the signing of executive orders, also mentioning plans to meet him.

Reversal of Biden’s decisions
Following Trump’s inauguration, he rescinded 78 executive orders and memorandums by former President Joe Biden, CNN reported.
Trump’s executive orders
Donald Trump signed an executive order on the withdrawal of the United States from the World Health Organization (WHO).
Trump also once again signed a decree on the country’s withdrawal from the Paris Climate Agreement.
Moreover, the US President pardoned 1,500 people who stormed the Capitol in January 2021.
The US leader also signed an executive order limiting the right to receive US citizenship based on birth.
Donald Trump overturned his Democratic predecessor’s measure to remove Cuba from the US list of state sponsors of terrorism.
Trump also signed an executive order to create a government efficiency agency headed by billionaire ally Elon Musk.
During his first day in the White House, Trump signed several dozen documents, spending 47 minutes and five seconds on it.
Relations with Russia
Trump suggested that he may be able to speak with Russian leader Vladimir Putin “very soon.” He also voiced plans to meet him.
The new US President suggested that anti-Russian sanctions would not be removed before the end of the Ukraine conflict.
At the same time, Trump added that Vladimir Zelensky is ready to make a deal to resolve the conflict in Ukraine.
Tariff plans
Donald Trump intends to impose a tariff on all goods from Canada and Mexico starting February 1.
He also warned that he would impose 100% customs duties on goods from BRICS member states.
The new US president also warned EU countries that he would impose tariffs if they do not start buying more American oil and gas.
